Carpenters Home Church Revival River Church
Carpenters Home Church Revival River Church
In 1994 for the first time I was touched in the revival meetings. It was at that meeting that I made a decision to live for Jesus. Years later I became a part of the River when it was at the sundome at USF. I was a single mother of a young boy by this time recieving government assistance. I tithed a dollar bill which was all I had left and was then granted a teaching positon the following week. God did not stop there. I decided to attend bible school and so did a friend of mine that I invited to go to church. He became saved and filled with the holy ghost that same year. Shortly after that we both joined the choir and became active in children’s minsitry. Then we were married and I now have three children, happily married, teaching children with special needs. One might think this is not a miracle. But it is for me. You see I came from a dysfunctional home, I watched abuse was abused and sexually molested. God set me free from fear, hate, anger, and filled me up with love, a sound mind, and hope. I am so glad that God touched me. He has broken the chains of bondage and set me free from sexual abuse. Thus three children later I am happy to say God can and will heal all of your brokeness. Even the things that no one but you know about.

I just wanted to thank God for your ministry, and how the Lord has blessed me through your programs on TV. I was touched deeply by the St. Louis, Mo. broadcast sunday night. I grew up in a pentecostal church, even though the church that I grew up in has erred in their holiness standards my parents taught us what living for Jesus really meant. My dad pastored churches through-out Geaogia while I was growing up. Here’s my testimony my dad is really old fasioned when it comes to comprimise in bible living, and the ministries he listens to, but he watched your TV. broadcast last night on GODTV. He was really blessed in your ministry, now he dosn’t feel like the only preacher that preaches the truth anymore. My dad is 83 yrs+, and recently he has felt turned aside from the church he spent his life building, but the message you preached sunday night was up-lifting. And I’m glad you have those scripts on your website, I’ll be downloading them soon. I talked to a brother in the Lord today about going to the retirement homes,Nursing homes, and local jails, we both play instruments and he has another friend that plays the piano. I will be using your resources and submitting our progress. I hope to see you in Jan. at the River. If you have those street ministries in Tampa I look foward to being there. I’m Praying that God will continue His wonderful works as you go from city to city.

On Friday the 14th Pastor Rodney asked for all those that would volunteer the following day to go witness with the teams to come forward. Before praying he said for us to think of the number of souls we wanted to reach. Instead of thinking of a number, I asked the Holy Spirit to give me a number, and He gave me the number 28. I agreed with Pastor and went home. The following day we went to visit a nursing home. At the end when we looked at the count, I noticed that we had spoken to 33 with 27 conversions and 1 rejection. As I was leaving, I said, “Lord, I can’t believe you’ll let me leave this place without meeting the number the Holy Spirit gave me last night. Please Lord, help me reach one more person for your kingdom. Just at the edge of the nursing home, about 2 feet away from the boundary there was a man in a wheel chair, and good to His word, the Lord helped me to lead the man to repentance. There was also an elderly lady that had lost her mind and kept repeating “nazareth, bayamon” which are the names of two different cities. As we entered the room the attending nurse told us that we were going to loose our time because she had lost her mind and didn’t understand anything. To prove her point she walked over to the patient and for over 2 minutes tried to make her say another word. Finally she succeeded and the patient repeated the word once, then went back to repeating “nazareth, bayamon.” Suddenly a boldness rose up in me; I walked over to her, looked down at her bed and said, “repeat with me, Jesus, forgive me of my sins, I repent. I receive you as my Lord and Savior. Cleanse me with your blood.” To the nurse’s amazement, she repeated every single word I told her. By the way, when I approached her, her eyes were crooked and she had a “glassy” look in her eyes. However, as soon as I said “Jesus,” her entire completion changed, her eyes became straight and she looked at me straight into my eyes as she repeated the words. I’m eternally thankful to the Lord and how he’s using Pastor Rodney to light a fire inside of us. Since the awakening, I no longer look at people the same, everyone I look at now I see them as someone that God loves and is going to hell unless we intervene. I know it is our responsibility to reach a lost and dying world. If we don’t, no one else will. There is literally a fire inside of me that is continually consuming me and the only way I can appease it is by witnessing to people. Not only is this happening to me, but two of my three sons have also caught the fire and are witnessing to their peers at school and work. My four years old grand-daughter prays for her older sister (6 years old) and says, “fire” and all they want to do is talk about the Lord. They were also deeply touched at the revival. May our Lord continue using Pastor Rodney and the team as He has here in South Florida.

I was sitting in the service and God told me to buy the Anointing series. This did not make sense to me because #1 I had already watched it in RBI for a couple of classes #2 I didn’t even have enough money to pay my mortgage for the month #3 Why not tell me to buy a series that I HAVEN’T seen?? Well He wasn’t listening to ‘my reasonings’. I finally agreed to buy it. To seal the deal- Pastor Erik got up at the end of the service, looked in my direction and said “don’t forget to go to the booktable”. So I was obedient. That night I watched a couple of the DVDs. The next day I was watching ‘The Fire of God’ and I felt the fire of God on me- so much so that I screamed for my 2 kids to come down stairs. I told them to close their eyes and lift their hands. As I did the fire of God hit both of them. They started laying hands on each other. We were all completely drunk in the Holy Ghost. Right before this all happened I was sitting there telling God how it was unfair that I couldn’t pay my mortgage that month- that someone actually owes me $5000. So I started calling in $5000 in the name of Jesus-that’s when I got drunk. Later that night after coming back from service I realized I hadn’t checked the mailbox. So I did. You guessed it- there was an “unexpected” check in the mail for $5000. It wasn’t even from the person who owed me the money! Well, after getting this I just couldn’t help but rejoice!! So,I sat down with God and this time we reasoned together. I added up my bills and figured I would like a minimum of $5000/month.(Hey if He can do it once, why not every month?) Well, last week I got a call and the person told me they wanted to bless me and my kids for Christmas. So I went and met the person and received a check. I figured it was for maybe a couple hundred dollars so I didn’t look at and just thanked her and left. As I drove down the road I looked at the check & yeah- you guessed it again- a check for $5000!! I couldn’t beleive it I said Lord where did this come from? And He said remember when we sat down and reasoned together? I’m just giving you what you asked for. God is so faithful! He comes through every time. I can feel my faith rising. Words can’t describe how blessed I feel to be a part of a ministry that believes and acts on the Word of God. I’m encouraged to do the same! -The next blessing will be a husband and father for my kids:)

The presence of GOD and his mighty strenght is with his people. My prayers are with you, and I have announced the great awakening tour in my job, here in Miami, FL. Few days ago ( and this is the second experience) I felt the Lord’s presence like a mighty rushing wind and I praised the Lord, and like a fire or flame burning over my head day and night..and if it goes for a “while or days” it returns in a loving, peaceful but strong and gracious sweet presence of our Lord.

Obstacles in Faith
God enables us to do His designer plan for our life. When we fall short of realizing the goals He has set for us, it isn’t as the Father did not provide required kit.
Instead, failure is mostly the results of a barrier in the heart, an angle or mixture of perspectives that short-circuits our religion. As a consequence, the flow of God’s power is obstructed, and we won’t become the person He wants us to be. Moses is a dramatic illustration of the disruptive potential of religion barriers. Called to one of the best missions in the Old Testament, the future leader of the Israelites answered with excuses for why he should not obey. Excuses for insubordination have not modified much since Moses’ experience with the burning bush. He attempted to cover behind the same 5 religion barriers believers use today : poor self-image ( 3:11-12 ), stupidity of God ( 3:13-21 ), self-doubt ( 4:1-9 ), feelings of inadequacy ( 4:10-11 ), and dread of failure ( 4:13-17 ) Thankfully, God’s reaction to religion barriers hasn’t modified since Old Testament days. Every time Moses objected that God asked the incorrect mana slow-tongued Midianite shepherd of slavery lineage, who murdered a person and became a fugitive. God replied with a firm but peaceful rebuttal. The theme of His answers is one we need to realize as Moses eventually did when we are called to serve, God will the work thru us. The Lord does not hunt down the best person for a job.
He calls men and women who are prepared to surrender themselves to Him.
Exodus 11
1And the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.
2Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver and jewels of gold.
3And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.
4And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:
5And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.
6And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
7But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.
8And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger.
9And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.
10And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land.
Exodus 4
1And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee.
2And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.
3And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.
4And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:
5That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.
6And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow.
7And he said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh.
8And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.
9And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.
10And Moses said unto the LORD, O my LORD, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.
11And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man’s mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?
12Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.
13And he said, O my LORD, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send.
14And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart.
15And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.
16And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God.
17And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.
18And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father in law, and said unto him, Let me go, I pray thee, and return unto my brethren which are in Egypt, and see whether they be yet alive. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace.
19And the LORD said unto Moses in Midian, Go, return into Egypt: for all the men are dead which sought thy life.
20And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.
21And the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.
22And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:
23And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.
24And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the LORD met him, and sought to kill him.
25Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me.
26So he let him go: then she said, A bloody husband thou art, because of the circumcision.
27And the LORD said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him in the mount of God, and kissed him.
28And Moses told Aaron all the words of the LORD who had sent him, and all the signs which he had commanded him.
29And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel:
30And Aaron spake all the words which the LORD had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.
31And the people believed: and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.
Revelation 3
1And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
2Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
3Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
4Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
5He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
6He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
7And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
9Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
10Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
12Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
13He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
14And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
