Near McDonald’s Jehovah witness received Christ. 2 men received Christ. 24 got saved today, over 40 this week. 6 prisoners got saved they stopped their car and she prayed with them.
I went to a man in a nursing home and asked him if he knew that God loved him he said yes bc I’m a retired rabbi. I asked if he knew he was going to Heaven he said yes bc his father and grandfather were in Heaven, bc they were rabbis also I continued with the script and the rabbi asked Jesus to come into his heart. Lady already saved-sent the soul winner to her husband-husband received Christ. Lady-rededication filled with joy of the Lord. With a being my first time going out on the streets, I started out being very nervous. After a couple times watching my partner I warmed up! And talked to 20 people and 13 of them said yes to the Lord. 2 guys -I just got of jail-survey Bus load of kids came up to you and asked you to pray for them.
Rededication Nursing home scared of where she was going, Prayed prayer, had peace. 70 got saved. Nursing home -man who was not in his right mind -“said I’m a ceiling fan” – The allowed a way in – he received Jesus Lady received Jesus-prayed for healing Lisa came in and felt the anointing for healing .20 people got saved, total 52 people. I went to a lady in the hospital-told her I was from church and I asked her if anyone had ever told her that God loves her, she said no that no one had even visited her. I went through script, she received Jesus then afterwards she said that she was thankful I stopped by that she hated a religion. It was awesome because she had been in a church and was backslidden bc of religion.
I witnessed to a hispanic gentleman who spoke english who in turn interpreted to his friend who did not spoke english and his friend accepted as well. I followed a McDonalds employee through the parking lot on his way to walmart and he accepted. It was at the end of the day and I was able to witness to 3 girls at the same time and they said the prayer simultaneously and got saved. I followed a lady on her way to catch a bus and got her to accept before she got to her bus stop. Prayed for man who was on a respirator and friend, both received Jesus and both felt the presence of God.19 people got saved.
NH At a nursing home last (Wed)night I came across a woman who prayed with me. She was crying at the end. She told me her husband was just shot and killed two weeks earlier and now she was placed there to recover. She was once a a Sunday school teacher, as I reminded her of scriptures and encouragement she cried.Then she said her sisters a nun and hasn’t visited her since she got to Nursing home. With me there, it comforted her that God was real and had not forgotten her in her tears as a soulwinner visited her at 8pm instead of her own family.
NH In a nursing home I prayed for two people. One woman said she was saved while the other didn’t know. Both prayed the prayer. At the end, the saved one said she met alot of people who had prayed for her, but I was different because she felt something-a real connection to God. After Wed. service the anointing was very thick and was still on me as a carrier of the presence that woman felt it. She said she knew something was different and real.
Today I led a lovely gentleman through the script. He told me of the poetry & prayers he’d learned in college from a teacher who said he’d use them at the end of his life if he was ever sick. He said she was so right-they were what stayed him in the hard times in the nursing home. He quote me a prayer-it was lovely. Witnessed downtown OKC to Darrell Barbar. A man received Jesus today. Layed hands on his knee and prayed for healing. The power of God touched him He began to tear up and all pain left him. Streets Man named Anton-wasn’t sure what he believed then he accepted Jesus Christ & weight lifted. His girlfriend got saved too. Talked to a young man who asked if he could go and pray for his kids to bring the script. I got about 18 people to the Lord. Grandmother told him he was too dirty to go to heaven. Gonna read the gospel script to his children. Jehovah Witness–grandmother and grandson.
I prayed with a young man in his late 30’s who evidently had brain damage and could not respond. Prayed the salvation prayer with the man,. Even though he could not speak, his eyes told me that he was , listening and I believe he was saved. I also prayed for total healing and when I visit the retirement center again, I believe he will be released and healed rom the brain injury as well as coming out of the wheel chair.
I walked down the street next to the Apartments, and I saw a guy out the window and I did the script to him and two ladies popped out and all of them received Jesus. Then she said if you see a guy on a bike with a white shirt and black jeans pray for him. He’s my husband so I found him and got him saved and she was so excited!
This past Sunday at the River was an amazing outpour of God’s love for people. It was putting the Bible into action. It says in Acts 2:43-47 that many signs and wonders happened, that the people were in one accord and gave so that everyone had something and that the church grew. And that’s just what happen people who come on the buses regularly brought toys and food so that others could be blessed. It touched my heart to see that they wanted give; so that someone else could be blessed like they had been when they first came. Many were healed, set free and delivered. It was more than giving away toys but ushering people into eternity. There was over 300 men, women, and children who got more than a toy but the gift of eternal life. This is the best gift anyone could have.
I felt honored to know that my River family stepped up to the plate and went far and beyond what was needed. People just let their talents be used; others were just a willing vessel and did whatever needed to be done. We operated as one body to serve the Hispanic community of Tampa. Genesis 88.6 was there just to support the event. There was great Word going forth, music, food and of course toys. It was a great Christmas morning to see the faces of the kids as they opened their toys. The delight and joy on the parent’s faces to know that their kids were happy was great.
And I know that they had a great time in the 6-12 class with Joe. How do I know this and I wasn’t in that class. Well I had to walk through to get some things and the kids where going crazy. Having the best time ever and all while at church and learning about how Jesus loves them. It was not your usual Sunday school lesson sit and listen to the teacher but get nothing out of it. This lesson involved whip cream in faces and water. Very messy but what each represented they got. I overheard a mom asking her daughter in the ladies room so what did you learn in class today? The child went on to say that the whip cream was sin and the water was Jesus coming to wash all the sin out of our lives. The mom was like wow!!! I was thinking the same thing. The little girl was no more than 9 and I know that she will not forget what she learned that Sunday morning.
The River is a place that reaches across all races and creeds to let people know that Jesus loves them and that we want to see them in eternity. That has always been the message and it will never change.
